University of Chicago’s Public Service Award to Operation ASHA’s CEO
June 8th, 2013: Mr. Sandeep Ahuja, CEO, Operation ASHA received the University of Chicago’s Public Service Award at Chicago.
University of Chicago (UoC) bestowed the University of Chicago’s Public Service Award to their outstanding alumnus Mr. Sandeep Ahuja, CEO, Operation ASHA for his stupendous work in public health by founding & running Operation ASHA. As CEO, Sandeep has led OpASHA since 2006. His sharp business acumen has earned praise and created a cost-effective method of treating tuberculosis.
The Public Service Award honors those alumni who have fulfilled the obligations of their education through creative citizenship and exemplary leadership in service in ways that benefit society and reflect credit on the University.
The award ceremony took place on June 8, 2013 in Chicago. Mr. Sandeep received the award with huge appreciation. After the ceremony he was mobbed by the well wishers. The audience was curious and eager to know more about him & Operation ASHA.
