Jacqueline Chen Hui Jie, Country Director Cambodia
Jacqueline is the Country Director of Operation ASHA (Cambodia). She manages the development, communications, operations, technology, human resource and finance portfolios. Jacqueline works closely with the Government, Donors and partner NGOs to eradicate Tuberculosis. She is leading a team to strengthen community systems, secure donor funding and spearheading the drive to introduce grassroots technology to improve patient treatment outcomes in Cambodia.
Prior to OpASHA, Jacqueline was involved in policy work with the Singapore Government. She helped developed the national strategy for community care sector and piloted new care models to meet the healthcare needs of the ageing population. She also reviewed the compensation and career progression structure of doctors and dentists working in the public healthcare sector to increase alignment to public sector ethos and enhance retention.
Jacqueline graduated from the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Nanyang Technological University and obtained a Master in Public Policy from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.
