December 10 & 11, 2013: Operation ASHA presented its work at World Innovation Summit for Health.

The World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH) is a high-profile initiative that aims to promote and facilitate innovation in the delivery of healthcare around the globe. On 10 and 11 December 2013, Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development launched the inaugural World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH) at the Qatar National Convention Centre.

This event brought together governments, business leaders, academics, clinicians, new media pioneers and the third sector to help unravel some of the most pressing global health challenges that we face today. It was attended by world renowned dignitaries like Her Highness Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser, Nobel Prize winner Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, The Right Honourable Professor the Lord Darzi of Denham and various others.

Operation ASHA was amongst the 15 most practical and innovative health solutions from around the world, chosen to represent their unique model at the Innovation Showcase at the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH).
