1.Operation ASHA also won the Lipman prize at Wharton School of Business this year. We were among the three NGO selected from across the world.

2. Operation ASHA’s latest project is in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. The inauguration was done by Honourable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and Honourable Health Minister of India. They provided the first dose to the first patient found by Operation ASHA in Himachal and initiated him on TB treatment. Honourable Health Minister of India, Shri Nadda went into the details of how eCompliance is going to eliminate TB in India, in his speech.

3. Operation ASHA wins the Millennium Alliance award facilitated by FICCI with funding from USAID, UK Government (DFID), World Bank and Indian government for Detection and Treatment of TB.

4. OpASHA launches a TB awareness comic book called ‘Knight Wolf’- that portrays a superhero who fights the bad guys and gives health and TB education at the same time. The launch was in Mumbai on 25th May and was inaugurated by Dr.Sanjeev Kamble, (Director Health Services, Maharashtra) who was the Chief Guest at this event. The comic book was written and illustrated by Grant Reed.
