Deepak Joshi is the Country Director of Operation ASHA (Cambodia).He manages the development, communications, operations, technology, human resources and finance portfolios. Deepak works closely with the government, donors, and partner NGOs to help eradicate tuberculosis. He leads a team to strengthen community systems, secure donor funding, and spearhead the drive to introduce grassroots technology to improve patient treatment outcomes in Cambodia.
Deepak joined the OpASHA team in January 2016 as Deputy Director Operations and managed the profile till January 2017. Throughout his time with OpASHA, he worked on program implementation across 8 states in India. Deepak also managed relationships with external stakeholders, which includes the Indian government. He also contributed in devising media strategy for OpASHA.
In February, he was promoted as Country Director, Cambodia where he manages the over-all operations.
Prior to joining operation ASHA, Deepak was working in the Communications industry with one of India’s leading rural marketing agencies, where he was responsible for the conceptualization of communication strategy, and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns for both commercial and social sector clients. He brings on-board his ability to create effective outreach campaigns targeted at different consumer groups.
Deepak holds a management degree from Institute of Rural Management Jaipur.
