Monitoring and Evaluation
We rigorously monitor our everyday operations to ensure that we continue to improve in delivering better and more effective treatment. Through an Electronic Medical Records System, randomized control trials with MIT, and analyzing how we spend each dollar, we are able to set benchmarks and evaluate our progress to a higher degree that most non-profits. We collect data such as: the number of TB patients we identify and refer for diagnosis (detection rates), the number of patients who miss treatments (default rates), and the effectiveness of each dollar we spend based on economic and social benefits to our patients (social return on investment).
At Operation ASHA, we believe that accountability and transparency are not just tools for measuring success, but our obligations to the donors and patients who trust in us to fulfill our mission.
